Summer Reading Kickoff-Glaser's Reptarium

Monday, May 20 from 12:30-3:30 PM @ North Dickinson Branch
Monday, May 20 from 6:00-8:00 PM @ Main Branch
Tuesday, May 21 from 6:00-8:00 PM @ Norway City Hall (915 Main Street Norway, MI 49870)
Kristen and Eric Glaser will present about their exotic pets including snakes, tarantulas, and lizards at this all age program to kick off Summer Reading 2024: Adventure Begins at Your Library. Opportunities to take photos and hold the animals will be available. The public is welcome to attend North Dickinson’s session. Please ring the doorbell and school staff will let you in.

Memorial Day Closure

The Dickinson County Library Main Branch will be closed on Sunday, May 26 and all Dickinson County Library branches will be closed on Monday, May 27 for the Memorial Day holiday. Regular hours will resume at the Main and Solomonson Branches on Tuesday, May 28. Summer hours for the North Dickinson Branch will begin on Tuesday, May 28.

Summer Reading 2024: Adventure Begins at Your Library

We have so many fun activities planned for this summer, and we hope you'll join us! Registration starts Monday, June 10, when you can go to any branch to sign up and receive a registration bag filled with fun surprises, bookmarks designed by our contest winners, and a card you can fill out and turn in for a treat and a chance to win a prize!

Program highlights throughout the summer include author visits, hands-on science activities, glow in the dark painting, and more!
